Terms and Conditions
Under the Home Appliance Protection Plan, coverage is provided for repairs or replacement parts as needed to repair or replace the covered item. The appliance must be covered by the proper type and amount of insurance, and the customer must notify the retailer within 24 hours of any damage or malfunction. The customer must also have proof of purchase.
The Home Appliance Protection Plan provides coverage up to the full purchase price of the item, Coverage is available for a maximum of one year from the date of purchase.
The Home Appliance Protection Plan does not cover any pre-existing conditions, damage caused by misuse or neglect, any item used for commercial purposes, and any items that have been changed in any way. Any appliance that does not meet the specifications outlined in the Appliance Home Protection Plan is not covered by this insurance plan. Also not covered are any repairs or replacement parts that are completed after the maximum coverage period has ended.
Should the customer experience a malfunction or need to make a claim, they must do so through the retailer and provide proof of purchase and description of the damage. The customer must also provide the provider with notice of the malfunction or damages within 24 hours of the incident.
How to File A Claim
To file a claim under the Home Appliance Protection Plan, the customer must contact the retailer with proof of purchase. All necessary paperwork must be completed and returned within the specified time frame. The customer must also provide a detailed description of the malfunctioning item along with photos or videos if applicable.
